Who's Who on the Team?

Nikila Gunarathne is an International Freshman from Sri Lanka, at Drexel University majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He is very interested in playing cricket and swimming. He's part of the ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) and hoping to join a fraternity.

Neil McNair is a Freshman at Drexel University majoring in Materials Science and Engineering. He is from Philadelphia, PA, and graduated from Central High School (also based in Philadelphia). He enjoys playing tennis and is on Drexel's club tennis team. Outside of academics, he also enjoys reading, playing video games, and exercising.

Daniel Moton is a Freshman at Drexel University pursuing a double major in Architectural Engineering and Civil Engineering.  He is from Southern Maryland and enjoys working backstage in theatres and spending time outside participating in a variety of activities, but enjoys sailing the most.  Email: motondp@drexel.edu

Andrew Norris is a Freshman at Drexel University who is actively seeking a degree in Architectural Engineering. He is from Gratz, PA and was a graduate at Upper Dauphin Area high school. His interests include sports and playing guitar.

Dr. Cairncross (Group Advisor) is an associate professor in the department of chemical engineering at Drexel University. He earned his Bachelor's of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester in 1989. He then went on to earn his PhD. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Cairncross's research interests are in bio-diesel production, sustainability, waste to energy systems, and biodegradable polymers and composites.
